Couldn't believe it when I sat down to an absolutely fantastic affogato outside at Poppins! Lovely to see such a great coffee option made by welcoming staff, with local coffee; a lovely, smooth blend, well brewed and with a fantastic, smooth crema - even before the ice-cream melted! Well worth a visit!

I went in today with 2 friends, last time I went it was owned by a previous owner, it was light & airy and a warm welcome by the owner. Food was absolutely delicious, two of us had the sourdough bread with avocado and two poach eggs and my friend had the chicken & veg soup made by their daughter. It was such great chicken pieces. Then 3 freshly made scones with jam & cream. Definitely will go again, already my husband is eager to try.

The food here is absolutely amazing and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, its a great place to visit if you are going past, me and my friends have been back multiple times for an ice cream! These pictures are from a while back but the food was too good not to share!!

What a lovely new addition to the high street. Definitely recommended you pop in and meet the wonderful friendly staff and try the delicious ice cream and brunch. Nice atmosphere inside, friendly local customers and good outdoor section too when it’s not Check it out!

Such a gorgeous new spot! We have dined in and also had takeout coffees all was super reasonable for lovely homemade food, and friendly staff. We will definitely be back :))

It was my first visit to Poppins cafe this week and my sister and I had a late breakfast. We chose two dishes (avocado and poached egg on sourdough and tomatoes and mushrooms on toast) and we shared them. Both were delicious. Then we were persuaded to share a big slice of Victoria sponge which was gorgeous. We had a lovely meal with great service and we will definitely be returning.
